Brightkite and Tumblr. Good idea or spammy?
Using Brightkite lately and it’s interesting. It’s supposed to be a service that allows you to connect with people around you and see what others are doing in your area. You can specify how much of a radius around you that makes it to your inbox.
It also integrates with Twitter, allowing you to broadcast your location information to all your Twitter peeps no matter if they are near you or not. So now I know exactly where my Australian friends are for coffee, just in case I get my transporter working again and feel like dropping in for a chat. Very useful yes?
